All of my classes make use RSS feeds generated by Google Reader’s shared items. I use this as a way to assign additional course materials to students. It also demonstrates one of the fundamental things that makes “new media” something particularly different. It began as an experiment in my first semester as a faculty developing my own classes. Students liked it enough that I’ve decided to make it a standard piece of the pedagogical puzzle.

I will keep three semesters worth of material listed on this page before I begin moving older courses into an “archive” directory. They will remain available, but wont be listed here directly.

During the fall of 2009, I am teaching only one course at UGA. That syllabi can be found here, among other places.

In the spring of 2009, I taught the following two courses here at UGA. Those syllabi can be found here, among other places.
